Laurel Grove Cemetery is a nonsectarian cemetery serving families of all faiths and composed of over 200 acres in Totowa, New Jersey, just outside of New York City. It has many special features and details for families and friends to appreciate during their visits and includes mausoleums, chapels, and a crematory.
Throughout Laurel Grove Cemetery there are expanded gardens that serve the Islamic, Korean, and Chinese communities of metropolitan New York and New Jersey.
Visitors desiring a final resting place a short distance from New York City, only 15 miles east of the cemetery, appreciate nature and the stillness of the rolling hills and shady groves. Having one of the largest maintenance and preservation trust funds in New Jersey ensures that Laurel Grove Cemetery will maintain its peaceful beauty and strong heritage forever.
Laurel Grove provides burial and cremation services for over 900 people per year, and to date, over 96,000 people are buried on its grounds.
